Principal's Message

Dear Students, Staff, and Community Members,

It is an honor and privilege to be the Principal of the Samuel S. Yellin School. The Stratford School District and in particular the Yellin School is a great place to learn, grow, and develop as a person and student. I thoroughly enjoy coming to work each and every day and love the fact that we have students that are eager to learn, professional and enthusiastic teachers, and a fully supportive community that wants nothing more than to see the youth of Stratford excel inside and outside of the classroom. I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful school and community and cannot wait to hit the ground running.

We firmly believe that success is attained through hard work, dedication, determination, and commitment to excellence. It is those staples that will build the foundation for these young and impressionable minds and instill the necessary characteristics it takes for one to be successful and extraordinary.

We will make every effort to make sure that all students grow and develop academically and socially, become upstanding citizens of society, and successfully adapt to an ever changing world. It is my hope and goal that the students strive for perfection in the classroom and further enhance the learning process by becoming heavily involved in various clubs, organizations, activities, and athletics.

I am confident that this will be an extremely successful year for all students, staff, and community members and look forward to achieving a standard of academic and cultural excellence.

As always, remember, "Do not count the days, make the days count." Have a wonderful and memorable school year!
